چکیده

Abstract Breast cancer is the most common that causes death in women. Conventional therapies, including surgery and chemotherapy, have different therapeutic effects are commonly associated with risks side effects. Near infrared radiation a technique few used for local hyperthermia, typically as an adjuvant to other therapies. The understanding of use near NIR monotherapy, its on immune cells activation infiltration, limited. In this study, we investigate HT treatment using tumor regression molecules breast tumors. Results from study demonstrated by at 43 °C reduced progression significantly increased median survival tumor-bearing mice. Immunohistochemical analysis revealed significant reduction proliferation treated tumor, which was accompanied abundance heat shock protein 70 (Hsp70). Increased numbers activated dendritic were observed draining lymph nodes mice, along infiltration T cells, NK B into tumor. contrast, tumor-infiltrated regulatory largely diminished addition, higher IFN-γ IL-2 secretion Overall, results present extends stimulate favourable response against cancer.

Targeted near infrared hyperthermia combined with immune stimulation for optimized therapeutic efficacy in thyroid cancer treatment

Treatment of thyroid cancer has incurred much focus because of its high prevalency. As a new strategy treating thyroid cancer, hyperthermia takes several advantages compared with surgery or chemotherapy, including minimal invasion, low systematic toxicity and the ability to enhance the immunogenicity of cancer cells with the expression Hsp70 which serves as Toll-like receptors-4 (TLR-4 agonist)...

Association of tumor infiltration lymphocytes and complete pathological response in breast cancer patients under neoadjuvant chemotherapy

Background: The breast cancer is the most common type of cancer in Iran. Hence determination of the optimal treatment and the contributing factors are important. The main aim in current study was to determine the association between tumor infiltration of lymphocytes (TIL) and complete pathological response in breast cancer patients after neoadjuvant chemotherapy. Methods and materials: In this...

Application of near-infrared light intensity to determine normal and cancerous breast vessel contrast by gold nanoparticles

Objective(s): A novel technique for the early diagnosis of breast cancer involves the use of nanoparticles (NPs). The present study aimed to use gold NPs to assess the variations in light source transfer intensity. Materials and Methods: Blood samples with hemoglobin (Hb) concentrations of ×1, ×2, and ×4 were used to simulate normal and cancerous conditions in the breast. Spherical gold N...

Crosstalk between Tumor Cells and Immune System Leads to Epithelial-Mesenchymal Transition Induction and Breast Cancer Progression

Herein, we review the current findings of how a variety of accessory cells could participate in shaping the tumor microenvironment and supporting the mechanisms by which cancer cells undertake the epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT). EMT, a complex of phenotypic changes, promotes cancer cell invasion and creates resistance to chemotherapies. Among the accessory cells present in the EMT, imm...
